Xenith Velocity Pro Light Varsity All Purpose

The most engineered all-purpose pad Xenith ever shipped. Aerospace-alloy stiffening frame, TPU impact foam, SC18 swivel epaulets, all in a 3.5 lb varsity package.

The Velocity Pro Light is what you get when Xenith took the Velocity² platform and pushed it harder. The arches are still injection-molded polymer resin for a low profile, but underneath sits an anodized aerospace-grade alloy stiffening frame that disperses energy with almost no added weight. The body padding is layered: TPU impact foam on top, corrugated performance foam below, joined by a flex hinge that lets the upper and lower sections move independently. SC18 epaulets and reverse cups give you 8 points of swivel up front and 4 in the back, so the chest plates and shoulder caps track with you through the throw, the cut, and the contact.

Frame and arches

• Injection-molded arches: super-tough polymer resin shells, low profile and light weight, with flexible impact dispersion.
• Anodized aerospace-grade alloy stiffening frame: spreads energy across the pad with minimal weight and bulk.
• Flex hinge body padding: upper and lower sections joined by a hinge so the pad bends with the shoulder, not against it.

Body padding and epaulets

• Proprietary TPU impact foam upper: high-energy absorption layer where the heaviest contact lands.
• Corrugated performance foam lower: compliant under the rib and lat, compatible with aftermarket channel inserts.
• SC18 epaulets and reverse cups: 8-point front swivel connection plus 4-point rear swivel, so the chest plates and shoulder caps move with shoulder rotation.
• Quick-change body padding: liners pull out for cleaning, drying, or swapping inserts.

Fit and finish

• Heavy-duty belt system: coated nylon belts and stainless steel hardware, with neoprene belt pads for comfort and belt management slots for a clean look under the jersey.
• Neoprene neckroll: Xenith's industry-best comfort layer at the collar.
• Removable front deltoid pads: dial in the shoulder coverage you actually want.
